Our Farm

The farm’s history goes back to the mid-1980s after the Hudson family fell in love with the picturesque Byron Bay hinterland. After buying a small acreage in Newrybar as a holiday destination the family saw the work being done in the surrounding macadamia plantations. The first summer was spent planting some 3000 cuttings and eight years later Waliz Nuts celebrated their first harvest.

Paul and Liz have continued to build on the strong reputation of the business, bringing their own passion and expertise to company as they raise their four young children on the farm ensuring the legacy of growing the highest quality macadamias continues.
